Taking up rowing for the first time is really easy for all ages and abilities and here at SARC it is no different. We offer a temporary membership for a low cost which will give you a comprehensive introduction and help you decide if this is the sport for you. You will be looked after by one of our coaching team whilst being taught both on and off the water.
We do not expect someone new to rowing to pay for a year’s membership on day one, so we offer two temporary memberships:
A four week trial to get a real feel of the life of a rower, at a cost of £20, or
a half day ‘introduction to rowing’ course, at a cost of £10.
Temporary membership start dates and plans will be confirmed upon contact, so we ask you to please get in touch with us prior to visiting the clubhouse so that we can make sure someone is there to welcome you.
Temporary Membership Forms:
As part of the ‘Water Safety Code’, all rowing members must be in good health and be able to swim at least 100 metres in light clothing and shoes.
